The PMI, Product Manufacturing Information, employed as a tool for the detail drawing, is a module of "Siemens Unigraphics NX" and is used to insert the informations of design to manufacturing for the production. The PMI represents information such as geometric dimensioning, tolerances (GD&T), text annotations, surface finishes and specifications of materials used. PMI module offers a complete 3D annotation environment that enables you to capture the requirements of production of components associated directly with the 3D model analyzed, sharing this information with other applications used on the same development without having to create 2D drawings.
The PJM is pleased to offer its customers, engineers who have successfully achieved the title of PMI within the project "MBE/BF (Model Enterprice/Brilliant Factory)" for the company "GE Oil&Gas". The course followed and achieved in Florence, has allowed our team of engineers to train on the use of the module "PMI di NX" and on the application of the "Rules GE" as it regards the organization and the realization of a project, acquiring so all the potentialities of the PMI.
